ARLA Security operates a Central Monitoring Station. It is manned on a 24 hour basis with English speaking operators. In the event an alarm is received, a Response Team is dispatched and relevant emergency agencies in Jakarta are alerted. This service is available to all ARLA clients and included in our contracts.

In Jakarta, ARLA operates out of modern offices in Kuningan in the heart of the Business District with easy access to diplomatic missions and expatriate residential areas.

Vetting. We carry out Security Checks on security guards about to be employed. Vetting in Jakarta, with its chaotic infrastructure is difficult. Nevertheless necessary to ensure that security guards, who is given access to sensitive information and properties are unlikely to abuse the trust that our clients place in them.

Stand-by security guards. As it happens in every workplace, every where, sometimes a worker can not come to work. Only, a guard’s work can not be postponed until the next day. This is particularly critical in "one-guard-projects" as residences. ARLA's solution is to provide a team of Stand-by security Guards of equal training and standing as your regular guard.

Standard Operating Procedures. Security work, we believe, is seldom about improvisation. It is about procedures, S.O.P's. Most is common sense. But our work environment here also calls for special routines. Be it bomb threats, demos, fire, accidents, or routine monitoring of domestic servants and visitors etc.

A crucial procedure is supervisory visits to each site on a random basis, often repeated each shift. Sanctions and incentives for the security guards are in place to uphold a consistent high standard of service.
